Yogan Naidu was head hunted to TFG and appointed as the Head Of Procurement. One of the group strategic objectives was to create a centralized procurement function for which Yogan shall spearhead. This is an executive role within Group and reports directly to myself, Group CFO

Yogan, joined us a year ago, being new to the business he has quietly gone about establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and has worked closely with them to deliver on key projects during this global pandemic. in the short space of time, he has met and exceeded expectations. He has established and improved the group visibility into Procurement related decisions, whilst ensuring our polices and processes remain agile and appropriate.

His role as CIPS Branch Chair for the Western Cape is testimony to his dedication and commitment to the profession. He is passionate about his work and has contributed significant value. I look forward to working with him and support his application for fellowship.

I have known Yogan Naidu for the past 15 years. I have had the privilege of mentoring him for these past few years and watched him grow and develop into a very competent procurement professional.

We also worked together at Nedbank where he was employed as a Category Manager in a very difficult and challenging category i.e. Marketing. During his time at Nedbank, he grew the reputation of the Procurement Division substantially and delivered on all the targets set for him. He was instrumental in introducing Category Advisory Boards to Nedbank – forums that still exist the Group and have been growing from strength to strength.

He left Nedbank to take up a Head of Procurement role at Woolworths. He has now held two Heads of Procurement roles for the past few years. He is currently the Head of Procurement at the Foschini Group.Yogan will have a lot to offer the procurement community both locally and internationaly given his vast experience and knowledge in procurement.
